Double Technology: Biometry and MIFARE RFID

The BIOPROX-MF offers double technology.
The reader reads Mifare Classic, Ultralight and Desfire cards with a read range of 6 cm.
SteelCoat protective coating provides added protection of the fingerprint sensor for rugged environments. Recognition and matching time in less than 1 second.
The BIOPROX-MF authentication modes are Finger, Finger or card, Finger and Card, Finger on Card.
The storage capacity of the BIOPROX-MF is 9500 fingerprints and cards.

Finger on Card

In Finger on Card mode, there is NO LIMIT on the capacity of fingerprints, since the fingerprints are stored in the user’s card, not in the biometric reader. Also, the cards contain only 50% of the information required to granted access. So, in case of loss, the access security will not be put at risk. It will only be valid by presenting the corresponding fingerprint.
It's a perfect solution for installation with a large number of users as the information is not stored in the reader memory, but in the card.
The Finger on Card mode is perfect for facilities in which personal information, such as fingerprints are not allowed to be stored.

Reader Configuration Through Software

The configuration of the readers and fingerprint enrolment is done through PC Software. The connection between the biometric readers is RS-485 and is used for fingerprint transfer and configuration. Management of the reader is integrated in our access control software PROS CS.

Large LED around the reader for an easy and stylish reading status

Another key defining feature of the MINI range is the multi-colour rectangular status LED. The RFID and biometric readers change colour depending on the user’s key fob/fingerprint. Three LED statuses are available:
idle (orange) - no key fob/fingerprint present;
accepted (green) - key fob/fingerprint present;
denied (red) - not valid key fob/fingerprint present.

Available in different colours

There are two colours available by default: silver and black.
There are more colours available upon request, like white, green, blue, red, charcoal… to ensure these units will complement any decor or building design.

Black Edition

In addition to the standard silver colour in aluminium finish, the MINI range is also supplied as standard in the Black Edition. It is a whole new standard product family in ruggedized and light black ABS finish with single and double technology.
