XPR PROS CS Access Control is a Certified Solution for use with XProtect® Access 2016!

Now it is possible to manage a surveillance system and access to a building or area with the same software.

XPR’s PROS Access Control Plugin enables XProtect to connect to the PROS access control server, enabling XProtect to retrieve configuration and user information from the access control system, receive access events and control doors and outputs.

Full Suite of XProtect® Access 2016 functionality:

• Fully customizable surveillance and access control client for operational control of your entire system
• View live video of controlled doors, and respond to access control requests at the push of a button
• Display the status of Doors and Cameras on the Smart Client interactive mapping interface
• Lock and unlock doors with the press of a button from the XProtect Smart Client, Remote Client and Mobile Client
• Trigger video Pop-up windows, video recording, automated email alerts, alarm messages, and other system responses in XProtect based upon events from the PROS CS access control system
• Search based on cardholders, doors, event types, and times to create a list of access control events
• Print access control reports including times, doors, card holders and images from cameras of events
• Synchronize Controlled Doors, Cardholders and Access Events Between PROS CS and XProtect
• Associate XProtect managed cameras with PROS CS secured doors to view relevant video alongside access requests and other access control events in both real-time and during investigations

What operators can do?

1. Manage PROS CS and XProtect: with XProtect® Access 2016 they can:

• Associate doors to cameras
• Create pop-up notifications, and other rules to govern automated system response
• Activate and categorize all relevant PROS CS system events

2. Viewing Live Events & Reports: Xprotect Smart Client Plug-in allows to:

• Pop-up windows alert operators to real-time events and can lock/unlock doors
• View live and recorded videos associated with events and alarms
• Search and filter events for doors, cardholders and time
• Print Access Control Reports directly to PDF files
• View real-time lists of events and alarms with live video from associated cameras

3. Control PROS CS Secured Doors: XProtect Smart Client Plug-in allows to:

• View live status of PROS CS doors and readers in Smart Client map interface
• Lock, Unlock, Open and Close doors at the press of a button with the Smart Client
